The book contains a detailed list of Superhero Cooking Tips and delicious kid-friendly recipes including Super Chicken Tacos, Powerful Potato Cakes, Mega Mac and Cheese Pizza, Crime Fighter’s Cookie Fluff, Legendary Lemon Tarts, and many more!
Let your child try their hand with the recipes in this book. Every kid who becomes the superhero of suppertime is one who eats super well!
I loved reading the recipes and checking out the colorful illustrations in Be a Superhero in the Kitchen! It’s perfect for all budding chefs. I love that there are 20 recipes, including main dishes, side dishes, breads, desserts, and even a beverage. I love the helpful tips for young cooks, and all the cautions necessary for cooking. Fun recipes that almost every child will eat (especially if they are helping to prepare the meal). One of the goals of the author is to try and get picky eaters to eat (after helping make the food). Though veggies are minimal, there are many little tips included that say, “You might try adding…” (other veggies or flavors). Way to go! Get cooking!
This is a terrific book to get a young person interested in cooking, and how to have fun in the kitchen. I bought an author signed copy as a birthday gift for my grandson.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good cook book
I showed this book to my niece who plays with her kitchen set. She started doing a demo of all the dishes mentioned in the book. Colorful display, super hero themes really were too good. Picture books mostly interest the kids a lot. I recommend this book to all who are new to cooking and all parents who have kids.
I am a wife, mother of two kids, a lover of comic books, and a home cook. I believe in making mealtime an enjoyable experience through joint cooking and kid-friendly meals. I also believe kids that help with the cooking process are more likely to eat their meals, which leads to a happy, peaceful dining experience. Be a Superhero in the Kitchen is my first children’s cookbook, but I strive to publish more.
